Biography

As communications officer at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, Stacey helps convey the founders' vision and the work of grantees in the foundation's areas of giving, with particular emphasis on science and patient care. She also supports brand, leadership and employee communications and provides communications guidance for Learn Foundation Law – a free online training for legal issues in grantmaking.

Prior to joining the foundation, Stacey worked at Chandler Chicco Companies, a global health care communications agency, where she served as a senior client communications strategist and the agency's first head of marketing communications. During her ten years at Chandler Chicco, she helped establish the agency's west coast presence and worked with a number of companies and organizations to educate and activate audiences on a variety of health-related issues in the U.S., Europe and Japan. Previously, she worked at Ketchum, a global public relations agency, in a variety of practices including health care, corporate, consumer and technology.

Stacey earned a B.A. in history at the University of California, Los Angeles (Go Bruins!). She is a member of the Arthur Page Society's Page Up organization, The Communications Network and Public Relations Society of America.
