Biography
Nav most recently served as the chief people officer for Roofstock Inc., a Fintech start-up based in Oakland, CA, where he helped grow the company from 60 to over 750 employees. During his tenure at Roofstock, the company was recognized as a Great Place to Work for six continuous years and received numerous awards for company culture by Fortune and Forbes.
Prior to Roofstock, Nav was the senior vice president of talent and a member of the senior management committee at Bank of the West, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas. During this time, Nav oversaw talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development and training.
Nav’s other prior roles include working in both finance and technology at Wells Fargo Bank. Nav started his career in Toronto as a Canadian Chartered Accountant working for both KPMG and Ernst & Young.
Born in the United Kingdom, Nav has lived in five different countries and nine different cities before calling the San Francisco Bay Area home. He received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. Nav is a CPA, having also held a Canadian Chartered Accountant designation.
