Green Workplace

Our headquarters in Palo Alto embeds the concept of sustainable design into every facet – from the building materials selected to the use of lighting to the landscaping that surrounds us. We want to practice what we preach, and that’s why environmental conservation is more than one of our program areas: it’s the guiding principle in the structure, function and design of our LEED® Platinum workplace. Our workplace earned the 2010 AIA Santa Clara Valley Merit Award and the 2009 San Jose Business Journal Green Project of the Year – Private. Our workplace helps demonstrate the value of sustainability.

Matching Gifts and #MooreService

In the spirit of our founders’ generosity, we encourage giving and community service among our staff. The foundation will match qualifying contributions. In 2022, staff and trustees directed $1,404,602 in contributions through the matching gifts program to organizations of their choice, worldwide. Our staff is also dedicated to volunteering our time to the organizations and places that we love. On a regular basis, we plan community service activities within teams and across the organization. Each year, we celebrate our Founders’ Day with a Day of Service. 

Work-Life Balance

We are passionate about our work and know we need to take care of ourselves to sustain our efforts. Our flexible work schedules, staff celebrations, on-site fitness center, bike lockers and weekly catered lunches all serve to support work-life balance across the organization.
