Biography
Elise supports the Wildfire Resilience Initiative and Special Projects portfolios by assisting with operational, financial and grant management and enabling effective initiative operations for the Wildfire Resilience Initiative.
Before joining the foundation, she worked at Environmental Defense Fund and supported institutional giving portfolios through project management and grants administration. Elise previously worked in corporate law in Silicon Valley, using project management, legal research and financial analyses to support a wide range of startup clients. She also interned in communications for Adventure Ashram, a nonprofit supporting anti-trafficking and education grassroots projects in India.
Elise received bachelor’s degrees in History and International Relations from University of California, Davis, with highest honors. Born and raised on the north coast in Humboldt County, she now resides in San Francisco’s historic neighborhood of Haight Ashbury.
