Previously, he served as associate director of investments at Carnegie Corporation of New York, where he led the foundation’s real assets investment program. Niles was also a corporate attorney with Dewey Ballantine and Winston & Strawn with a focus on capital markets transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

Niles graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in classical archaeology, earned his law degree at the Duke University School of Law and received an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
