Biography

Nikki provides key team coordination for the Moore Foundation's Conservation and Markets Initiative and is accountable for enabling effective Initiatives operations, assisting with operational and financial management.

Previously, Nikki worked in environmental and transportation planning for Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority prior to attending graduate school for coastal environment management at Duke University. During her time in grad school, Nikki worked on evaluating climate impacts on marine protected areas in Indonesia as well as studying bottlenose dolphin genetics. Additionally, Niki was a fellow at Natural Resources Defense Council where she worked on California fisheries management plans and improving advocacy of illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing.

Nikki received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and management from the University of California, Davis.
