Biography

Before joining the foundation, Irena worked as an administrative and agency coordinator at Google Czech Republic. She found her true passion for philanthropy by transitioning into the non profit sector as program manager for the Czech Debate Association and after relocating to the United States as the executive director of the International Debate Education Association.

In her free time, Irena assists international spouses of Stanford postdocs search for employment in the San Francisco Bay Area and volunteers at a summer camp teaching physics to high school students.

Irena received her masters in astronomy and astrophysics and a bachelors degree in physics from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
