Erin supports the Science Program’s Emergent Phenomena in Quantum Systems Initiative, including grant development and management.
Prior to joining the foundation, she interned in research labs at University of California Los Angeles and the University of Tokyo. She assisted on projects such as modeling piezoelectric strain in gallium nitride and testing magnetic field measurement techniques. She additionally worked as a summer intern in the materials and process group at SSL and as a math tutor for students in grades 1-9. Her other experiences include coordinating a conference for undergraduate women in engineering, organizing events for Asian Pacific Islander Desi American heritage month, and editing for one of UCLA’s student media magazines.
Erin received her B.S. in chemistry-materials science from UCLA.
