This grant will enable Woods Hole Research Center, acting as the organizer/secretariat of the Forum on Readiness for REDD, to convene two regional focused workshops on Readiness for Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD). This grant will improve the capacity of developing countries in Africa and Latin America to implement REDD frameworks, carry out activities to improve the in-country success of REDD, and foster collaboration on a South to South basis.
