To improve the science and technology policy-related components of legislation through the establishment of an effective Legislative Science and Technology Policy Fellows Program. The Fellows program will place ten Ph.D.-level (or equivalent) scientists and engineers per year in the California Legislature either as staff members of individual legislators or on committee staff.
