Skeena Integrated Management Reform

The purpose of this grant to Tides Canada Foundation (Tides Canada) is to facilitate the move towards more sustainable salmon harvest and habitat protection practices in the Skeena watershed of Northwest British Columbia. The overall goal of the project is to strengthen the in-region campaign to ensure implementation of Canada’s new Wild Salmon Policy consistent with the May 2008 recommendations of the Skeena Independent Science Review Panel.
