Patrimonio was created by public and private organizations to ensure the social and financial sustainability of Colombia’s National Park System and to coordinate various stakeholders and territorial management processes to ensure the country’s conservation objectives are met.  Patrimonio works through key alliances with technical and financial entities at the national and international levels, and in direct partnership with the National Park Service and the Amazon Territorial Unit.
