Foundation president, Harvey Fineberg, and chairman emeritus and co-founder, Gordon Moore, discuss the Statement of Founders’ Intent with staff.
Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and founded in 2013 by a group of specialists from the Institute for International Trade Negotiations with expertise in agronomy, economics, law and applied mathematics, Agroicone focuses on global agricultural development.
The organization conducts agribusiness analysis and constructs sustainability scenarios for business entities, agricultural associations, and NGOs around the world. It also develops tools to evaluate land use changes and the expansion of agricultural commodities, such as livestock, corn, beans, cotton, rice and wheat. Agroicone develops technical content for consumers and journalists on key environmental issues such as deforestation, low-carbon emissions and biodiversity conservation.
