Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Round Table on Responsible Soy Association is an international, multi-stakeholder initiative that promotes responsible production, processing and trading of soy on a global level.
In support of its mission, the association facilitates a global dialogue on soy that is economically viable, socially equitable and environmentally sound, and reaches consensus among key stakeholders and players linked to the soy industry. It also acts as a forum to develop and promote a sustainability standard for the production, processing, trade and use of soy and monitors the sustainability of global soy production. Its international conferences on responsible soy production involve new operators and nongovernmental organizations.
The Round Table on Responsible Soy Association is comprised of over 150 member organizations from around the world, including representatives from throughout the soya supply chain and civil society.
