Foundation president, Harvey Fineberg, and chairman emeritus and co-founder, Gordon Moore, discuss the Statement of Founders’ Intent with staff.
With support from this grant, Tagging of Pacific Pelagics (TOPP) will focus on studying the key physical and biological processes linking the TOPP apex predator species to specific areas. TOPP will quantify the habitat characteristics that result in aggregation and retention of highly migratory species in several areas within the California Current ecosystem (CCE) that have emerged as critical multi-species hot spots.
