This grant supports a conference to synthesize existing interdisciplinary scientific knowledge and catalyze the development of scientific initiatives needed to advance ecosystem-based policy and management in the California Current. A key result of this conference will be increased communication and collaboration among scientists working on the application of ecosystem-based management along the West Coast of the United States.
