Foundation grantee Thomas Heaton, professor of geophysics and civil engineering at Caltech, recently gave a demo of the California Integrated Seismic Network to PC Magazine. The real-time visualization showed what might happen when a 7.8-magnitude earthquake strikes Southern California.
