The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation’s Patient Care Program sponsors five fellowship programs in diagnostic excellence to attract candidates from a variety of specialty backgrounds and career stages. Each fellowship is remote, requires a project proposal focused on improving diagnosis, and offers a stipend as well as professional networking and mentoring opportunities. The Society to Improve Diagnosis Fellowship in Diagnostic Excellence

For early career healthcare professionals, or those new to the field of Diagnostic Excellence

National Academy of Medicine Scholars in Diagnostic Excellence in partnership with the Council of Medical Specialty Societies

For mid career professionals from a broad range of disciplines and professions with a focus on diagnosis-related work

The Society of Bedside Medicine Fellows Program

For junior faculty within five years of terminal training. Focus on bedside diagnosis; one aspect of project must address issues of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice.
