With support from the Moore Foundation, the Institute of Food Technologists' Global Food Traceability Center (GFTC) conducted extensive research in 2014 on the value of seafood traceability.
GFTC investigated the utility of traceability to reduce waste, enhance consumer trust, and increase business efficiencies along the entire value chain from catch to the consumer.
