In support of testing a predictive model for early deterioration of impending physiologic deterioration (EDIP) of hospitalized patients and developing an electronic early warning system for implementing the EDIP model. The predictive model and early warning system will be piloted at Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, with the goal of reducing unplanned transfers to the ICU and ICU mortality.
