In her commentary, Vicki discusses the need to reward interdisciplinary researchers who identify and apply the most appropriate analysis methods. She also points to the foundation's Data-Driven Discovery Initiative, led by Chris Mentzel, as an example of how to strengthen incentives at research institutions to support more data-driven researchers.
