Foundation president, Harvey Fineberg, and chairman emeritus and co-founder, Gordon Moore, discuss the Statement of Founders’ Intent with staff.
Berkeley Lab researchers received a five-year, $2.4M grant from the Moore Foundation's EPiQS Initiative to develop a new spectrometer for studying materials using X-ray scattering.
This new instrument will make far more efficient use of synchrotron X-rays and increase the number of material systems that can be studied, including quantum materials.
