Stacey is a communications officer at the foundation. Her primary focus is strategic communications planning and implementation for the patient care program. In this role she helps convey the program’s vision to improve the experience and outcomes of patient care and works closely with grantees to highlight the impact of their work. Stacey also supports foundation-wide communications, including leadership communications, internal and external communications, and provides communications support for Learn Foundation Law and other programmatic areas of giving.
Prior to joining the foundation, Stacey worked at Chandler Chicco Companies, a leading global health care communications agency, where she served as a senior client communications strategist and head of marketing communications for the agency. During her ten years at Chandler Chicco, she worked with a number of companies and organizations to promote disease awareness, influence health policy and help improve patient care globally. Previously, she worked at Ketchum, a global public relations agency, in various practices including health care, corporate, consumer and technology. Stacey is a member of Page Up (part of the Arthur Page Society), The Communications Network, Public Relations Society of America and Healthcare Businesswoman's Association.
Stacey grew up in California and has lived outside the U.S., in both Europe and Asia for work and school. She earned a B.A. in history at the University of California, Los Angeles.
