Julia’s work focuses on enabling effective and integrated program strategy and operations and enhancing connections between the Science Program and other parts of the foundation.
Previously, Julia served as the program associate for the Science Program’s Marine Microbiology Initiative. Before joining the foundation, she held biology and chemistry teaching assistant positions at Oberlin College and also worked as a biochemistry intern at University of California, Berkeley. Julia’s range of volunteer experiences includes working in HIV education and tutoring high school students in math and science.
Julia received a B.A. with honors in biology and a minor in chemistry from Oberlin College.
