Blood Poisoning Deaths Sharply Cut at Hospitals

Through funding to the UCSF Center for the Health Professions, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation supported the creation and development of the Integrated Nurse Leadership Program (INLP), a forum for frontline caregivers that works to improve patient safety by fostering nurses’ leadership and change management skills.  In a story for the April 21 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle, Victoria Colliver reports on INLP’s life-saving results.
