MMI-supported microscopy research profiled in Nature

Nature December 15, 2010

In August, Dr. Francesca Malfatti was awarded the International Recognition of Professional Excellence (IRPE) prize from the International Ecology Institute. Dr. Malfatti’s work on atomic force microscopy and 3-D deconvolution microscopy was supported through funding from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation’s Marine Microbiology Initiative.
