Global methods for estimating the exploitation status and maximum productivity of fish stocks.

To develop a technically sound, broadly acceptable approach to estimating exploitation rates for fisheries in each country around the world, as well as an approach to estimating maximum fisheries production for each ocean area, which can serve as the global standard for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and other groups.
