Center for Bio-inspired Engineering

To establish a Center for Bio-inspired Engineering, with facilities on the main campus of Caltech and at the recently established Caltech Field Laboratory for Optimized Wind Energy in northern Los Angeles County. The Center will carry out research, development, and field testing of novel wind energy technologies inspired by engineering solutions found in nature.
