Purpose
This grant to the David Suzuki Foundation supports an integrated approach to protecting wild salmon populations along the British Columbia coast. Outcomes for this grant include conversion of the Wild Salmon Policy to an ecosystem-based management regime, establishment of the Salmon Stewardship Network as an effective self-sustaining entity, as well as modeling and a report of sea lice dispersal.
