Purpose
To increase awareness, knowledge, and practical usage of modern data intensive scalable computing and large scale data management techniques among domain scientists. Funding will support deployment of state-of-the-art scalable data management technologies such as parallel relational databases, parallel data analysis frameworks, and cloud computing services to solve emerging data-intensive science problems.
