Purpose
In support of acquiring new knowledge about many astrophysical puzzles, including dark matter, dark energy, the origin and evolution of galaxies and clusters of galaxies, and black holes by developing, designing, testing, and manufacturing adjustable grazing incidence optics and developing a CMOS-based detector for the next generation of satellite-based X-ray telescopes.
