Purpose
This grant will support the design and development of the Tinkering Studio, a new public learning environment to be launched in spring 2013. Funding will be used for the design of the learning environment and six new activity sets, creation of training and staffing plans for Tinkering Studio facilitators, and the development of an evaluation and research design to document the ways in which the Tinkering Studio supports science learning for different audiences.
