Purpose
This grant to East Bay Regional Park District will support the acquisition of the 955-acre Owen property, a key step in preserving a larger habitat assemblage covering Pleasanton and Sunol ridges and their watersheds in Alameda County, and will fund immediate stewardship needs on the property. Funding by GBMF will leverage District funds and other grants in support of expansion of large-scale preservation efforts in this area of central Alameda County.
