Purpose
This grant will help fund the initial operation of the Resnick Institute for the Science of Energy (RISE), a newly endowed program at Caltech, with a strategic focus on energy science and technology. Foundation funds will support the postdoctoral and graduate student fellowships, communications programs, and facility development for the Institute during the initial year, when RISE endowment funds are not yet available.
