Purpose
This grant to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering funds the sequencing of 19 related marine Vibrio (bacterial) genomes, and will be used to answer important questions pertaining to microevolution of Vibrio genomes, and to provide insights into local and global population structures.
