Purpose
Yellowstone Park Foundation is using this grant to study the subalpine habitats of Yellowstone Lake. Researchers are sampling and assessing the lake's sediments, vents, and spires using well-established methods and equipment as well as cutting-edge proprietary technology. Outcomes for this grant include demonstration of MATBI concept for a simple ecosystem and documentation of sampled biota.
