Stacey is a communications officer for the foundation. Her primary focus is strategic communications planning and implementation for the Patient Care Program. She helps convey the program’s goal to eliminate preventable harms and unnecessary health care costs by meaningfully engaging patients and their families within a redesigned, supportive health care system. In addition, she works with the foundation's leadership in support of internal and external communications.
Prior to joining the foundation, Stacey worked at Chandler Chicco Companies, a leading global health care communications agency, where she served as a senior client communications strategist and head of marketing communications for the agency. During her ten years there she worked with a number of companies and organizations to promote disease awareness, influence health policy and help improve patient care. Previously, she worked at Ketchum, a global public relations agency, in various practices including health care, corporate, consumer and technology. Stacey grew up in California and has lived outside the U.S. in both Europe and Asia.
She earned a B.A. in history at the University of California, Los Angeles.
