Program Fellow, Environmental Conservation

Maureen focuses on wild salmon ecosystems, market-based certification schemes, and the intersections between financial markets and policy.  In addition, Maureen leads the aquaculture component of the program’s ongoing investigation of strategies to mitigate the impact of global food production on natural ecosystems. She also contributes strategic thinking to the program’s investigation of how financial markets can incentivize sustainable business practices.

Prior to joining the foundation, Maureen supported and managed research projects for employment law and intellectual property departments at First Data Corporation, including domestic and international patent portfolio management.

Maureen received a Master of Arts in political science with a concentration in international relations from the University of Colorado, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in history from Colorado State University.
