Communications Officer, Environmental Conservation
Jessica works with staff and grantees of the Environmental Conservation Program to communicate the importance of balancing long-term conservation goals with sustainable use of land, freshwater and coastal marine ecosystems.
Prior to joining the foundation, Jessica led the social impact team in the San Francisco office of Allison+Partners, a global communications agency, where she developed messaging, online and media strategy for environmental and public health clients including the Goldman Environmental Prize and the California Tobacco Control Program, a division of the state Department of Public Health. Previously, she worked at Fenton, a public interest communications firm, on a variety of open space protection, social justice and education campaigns. She also held positions at Acterra, a Bay Area environmental nonprofit, and CALPIRG, the California Public Interest Research Group.
Jessica earned a B.A. in science, technology and society from Stanford University.
