Dominick
Frosch, Ph.D.

Fellow, Patient Care

As a fellow in the Patient Care Program, Dominick oversees the foundation’s activities related to patient and family engagement in health care. 

Before joining the foundation, Dominick served as associate investigator at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Research Institute and associate professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. For over a decade he conducted research on developing and implementing interventions to increase patient participation in clinical decision-making.

Dominick has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and chapters. To date, his published research has been cited over 2,600 times. He currently serves as deputy editor for the Journal of General Internal Medicine and previously served as associate editor for Health Psychology.

Dominick completed his Ph.D. in clinical health psychology at the University of California, San Diego and a fellowship as a Robert Wood Johnson Health & Society Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
